TUCSON, AZ (AP) - Arizona flourished in its first season under Rich Rodriguez.

The Wildcats' follow-up starts Friday at home against Northern Arizona.

Arizona is expected to roll over the FCS Lumberjacks, but still wants to play well to get the season started on a good note.

A big question for the Wildcats is who will start at quarterback.

B.J. Denker was called the front-runner by Rodriguez this week, but the coach has been coy about who will get the nod, listing him, Jesse Scroggins or Javelle Allen as the possible starter against NAU.

The Lumberjacks could also provide Arizona with a bit of test defensively behind Zach Bauman, who's rushed for 1,000 yards each of the past three seasons.
