TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The president of the Sunnyside School District Governing Board has confirmed the Arizona Attorney General's Office has served him and two other board members with a complaint that they may have violated the state Open Meetings Law.

Louie Gonzales says he, Bobby Garcia and Eva Carrillo Dong now must respond to the accusation.

Gonzales says it has to do with what was called an "administrators' summit" that was held at the Desert Diamond Casino a few weeks before school started.

Gonzales says he believes one of the other two board members reported them.

He says the three did not violate the Open Meetings Law because the only time they were all together WAS At lunch, and they did not conduct school district business. Gonzales says the evidence will show that.
