Local company offers assistance to Alzheimer's caregivers

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - September is World Alzheimer's month and one local company is hoping to help caregivers of those suffering from the disease.

Over 5 million people suffer from Alzheimer's today, with that number expected to triple to 15 million by 2050.  There are 15 million caregivers, mainly family members giving non-medical assistance to those patients.  Home Instead Senior Care provides non-medical training and resources to those family caregivers, with a 'Confidence to Care at Home' kit.

Home Instead Senior Care is an organization with over 1000 locations in all 50 states and four continents.
