TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A homeowner called police Wednesday to report a burning car near Irvington and Interstate 19.

Captain Barrett Baker with the Tucson Fire Department said the fire threatened a nearby house in the 4800 block of S. 11th Avenue.

Crews quickly responded and the fire was under control within five minutes, according to a news release.

It was not immediately known what caused the fire.
