SV woman arrested after allegedly shooting at husband

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A Sierra Vista woman, who police said attempted to murder her husband, was arrested Wednesday.

Sierra Vista Police Department officials said 44-year-old Beate Alexandra Bohan was arguing with her husband over a pending divorce when she reportedly grabbed a handgun from the bedroom and fired one shot at him.

He was not injured and wrestled the gun away from Bohan before calling police, who then responded to the incident in the 600 block of S. First Street.

Bohan was booked into the Cochise County Jail, charged with domestic violence and attempted first degree murder.
