Lockdown lifted at 3 Rio Rico schools

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Three Rio Rico schools were briefly locked down this morning.

According to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office, the lockdown was lifted by 10:37 a.m. after security checks were completed at the schools and surrounding areas.

A tweet from the Nogales International newspaper said San Cayetano Elementary, Mountain View School and Rio Rico High School were affected by the lockdown, which was prompted by a report of a suspicious man.

The Sheriff's Office said no one was found.
