    An Ahwatukee mother is appealing to neighbors on Facebook to help teach her daughter a lesson.

    The puppy was spotted under a leaking tar storage container on the public property. According to the animal rescue group that posted about the situation on Facebook, it cried out for help, unable to move as one side of his body and his face were stuck in the substance.

The Green Flag will drop September 7th for the opening of Inaugural Tucson Speedway Season! 

During the Six Race Spring Schedule designed to re-introduce pavement racing to loyal fans, a renewed competitive spirit began to evolve in the racing community.  This has developed into many new cars being built for each division that and record number of fast race cars will be on hand for Pizza Hut Hawaiian Summer Sizzle.  Super Late Models, Late Models, Limited Modified, Pro Stocks, Bombers, Mighty Compacts and Hornets will compete for pride and points each and every scheduled race.  

Will seasoned veterans Ron Norman, Matt Levin, Curtis Lansing, Scott Rueschenberg, Brandon Schilling, Ned Champine, Rick Butler, Joe Paladenic or Brian Harrington take the checkers in the Super Late Model Division or will talented young guns Mariah McGriff, Cassie Gannis and Mark Shaffer Jr streak to a Win on opening night?

Late Model drivers Scott Strachan and Brad Moyer were two of the top drivers this past spring. 

The Southwest Orthopaedic Surgery Specialists Modified class will have a record number of cars. 

Although the name has changed from Sportsman to Pro Stocks,  the wheel to wheel and the "rubbing' is racing" action has not and the competition will be more exciting than ever!

Free leis to the first 3500 fans, fire truck rides on "Big Red" for kids, water balloon toss and hula hoop competition, t- shirt toss and Pizza Hut pizza slices will be available before and during the racing action.

The track has free Wi-Fi available and sponsored by Blue Span Wireless.  One lucky fan will receive a ride in the track race car and there will be drawing for a 5 lap ride for September 21st race.  Also drawings for certificates for Mama's Hawaiian Bar-B-Cue, home of Hawaiian BBQ pulled pork sandwiches.  A fun night for families!

Join us the "The Action Track Built for Speed", for a great night of affordable family entertainment. Adults $12, Senior& Military $ 10, Young Adults 11-16 $ 6, under 11 years of age free. SPECIAL Family of 2 Adults and 2 Children Only $ 25 . . . a $12 Savings!  

Fan Gate Opens at 5pm and Racing begins at 7pm.

Take I-10 Rita Road Exit 273 South. Turn left at Rocket Starve and follow to the track located at 11955 S Harrison.
