TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Every UA game I chose a play that I think represents the kind of tough physical football that we all love.

The award for the Wildcats Week 12 butt-kicking at the hands of rival Arizona State goes to senior Jake Fischer.

Fischer has been the consummate professional during his time at UA and no one is more fundamentally sound than the Ironwood Ridge product.

His 85 tackles are second the team to fellow senior Marquis Flowers.

Fischer made headlines earlier this season when he added his name to a national lawsuit aimed at protecting the marketing rights of collegiate athletes.

There is no doubt that Fischer has led during his team at Arizona and will continue to lead when that time is done.
