TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

An 11-month old boy is still fighting for his life this morning.

This is after his mother told investigators that her live-in boyfriend allegedly dropped this toddler earlier this week.

Baby Joshua is continuing his fight inside UAMC right now.  Tucson News Now has learned from Tucson Police Department reports that Barker allegedly dropped the baby and then called Diana Noncheva, the baby's mother to tell her.  Noncheva returned home, according to reports and allegedly waited an hour before calling a friend for a ride to the hospital.   TPD reports also state that drug paraphernalia was discovered inside the southeast side apartment where the couple was living.

Both Noncheva and her boyfriend Bryan Barker are in jail, facing charges of child abuse.

Tucson News Now has also learned that other children were removed from the home, the children did not belong to either Noncheva or Barker, but to another woman who also lived in the apartment.

Stay with Tucson News Now this morning for updates on the situation as they come in.
