Fires at Madison funeral home ruled arson

MADISON, TN (WSMV) -

Fire investigators believe a blaze at a Madison funeral home was purposefully set Sunday morning.

According to Assistant Fire Marshal Billy Deering, multiple fires were set at the Spring Hill Funeral Home on Gallatin Pike, and he believes someone or several people broke in to steal several items.

Luckily, the funeral home suffered mostly water damage, still investigators said whoever did this, is still out there; they believe several people may be involved in the crime.

The fire is still under investigation.
