Teen rescued from state park while hiking

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A 17-year old teenager was assisted off a hiking trail at Catalina State Park Sunday afternoon after getting injured.

Golden Ranch Fire Department officials say the teen twisted her ankle while hiking with family and friends.

Search and rescue crews hiked up the mountain and used a basket to carry her back down. Firefighters say minor injuries can become dangerous if not prepared.

    Dozens of people spent Wednesday afternoon putting the finishing touches on their wagons for the annual Tucson Rodeo Parade. There are a total of 81 wagons in this year's parade. Close to 2,400 people and 560 horses will be walking in the parade as well.
