CINCINNATI (AP) - The University of Cincinnati is focused on fire safety in events Monday as part an initiative in the aftermath of two student deaths in an off-campus blaze.

The public was invited to viewings of the documentary "After The Fire," about the impact of a deadly fire at Seton Hall University in 2000. It focuses on the lives of two badly burned survivors.

Students Ellen Garner and Chad Kohls were killed Jan. 1 in an off-campus fire. The city of Cincinnati has launched a safe student housing program that lists rental properties that have passed city fire inspections.

Family members of the two students killed spoke during the programs.
