Rural/Metro responds to report of vehicle over cliff on Catalina Hwy

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Emergency crews from the Rural/Metro Fire Department were dispatched to Catalina Highway for a report of a vehicle over a cliff Monday morning.

According to a Rural/Metro spokesman, the incident happened at a pullout near Milepost 2.

Sheriff's deputies said the woman who drove over the side told them she wanted to kill herself.

No further information was available.
