PRESCOTT, AZ (CBS5) -

Prescott police capped a monthslong sex abuse investigation with the arrest of a Yavapai County man.

Mark Morgan, 41, was taken into custody at his home on Wednesday around 2:30 p.m.

Morgan was booked into the Yavapai County Jail for seven felonies, including continuous sexual abuse of a child and misconduct involving weapons.

Detectives had been investigating allegations that Morgan was involved in sexually-related acts with his live-in girlfriend's two daughters under age 15.

The crimes first occurred in January 2011 and continued through December 2012, officers said. The girlfriend and her daughters no longer live with Morgan.
