TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Pima County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a manslaughter suspect who police say is connected to a fatal motorcycle incident from September 7.

Sherman Kidd, Jr. reportedly crashed into 53-year-old Michael Bell's motorcycle while passing vehicles in a no pass zone at high speeds, police say. Both men involved were transported from the scene at Bopp Road, west of Kinney Road, to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Bell was pronounced deceased and Kidd remained hospitalized in serious condition until he was released on September 12, according to a news release.

He was then booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Center and charged with manslaughter.
