THREE POINTS, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Pima County Sheriff's Department deputies responded to Fred's Arena and Steak House in the 9600 block of South Avra Road just before 11 p.m. Saturday night in reference a shooting.

When deputies arrived, they found a male that had been shot and rendered first-aid until paramedics arrived. Other deputies began a coordinated search for the shooting suspect but were unable to locate him, according to a press release.

Sheriff's department night detectives unit, along with the robbery assault unit, responded to the scene and took over the investigation. During the course of the investigation, several witnesses were interviewed, but were unable to provide substantial information to help identify the shooter. The witnesses provided a vague description of the suspect as being a Hispanic male, six foot tall, and possibly in his fifties.

The victim was transported by a LifeLine helicopter to a local hospital for treatment and is in stable condition. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to call 88-CRIME or 911.
