TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Southern Arizona Chapter of the American Red Cross is sending aid to Denver, Colo., to assist those affected from recent flooding.

Pat Eger is a seasoned disaster responder with close to 40 national disasters of experience and will fly out to offer aid, according to a news release. 

She will be going to work in the area of client casework, assisting in aiding the clients in the disaster relief/recovery period. 

Eger will depart from Tucson International Airport at 8 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16.
