Tucson accounting firm adds five accountants to staff

TUCSON, AZ -

R&A CPAs has announced the addition of five senior level accountants to its staff.

Laura J. Liewen, CPA has joined the firm as a Tax Manager. With 15 years of public accounting experience, she specializes in income tax return preparation, compliance and research for individuals and businesses. Liewen also has experience with compiled and reviewed financial statements.

Bethany Goldberg, CPA has joined the firm as Client Services Manager. She holds CPA licenses in Arizona, Texas, and California and has expertise in financial statement audits and accounting services, with a focus on not-for-profit organizations and employee benefits plans.

Kaleigh Hotchkiss, CPA has joined the firm as a Senior Audit Associate. She has public accounting experience in audit and assurance services.  Hotchkiss will be responsible for planning and executing financial statement audits, federal and state compliance audits, and preparation of financial statements.

Alice Vivaldo, CPA has joined the firm as a Tax Associate. She has seven years of experience in the public accounting field, specializing in tax preparation of C-Corp, S-Corp, partnership, trust and individual returns.  Vivaldo's  special focus will be in international taxation.

Jessica Raizk, has joined the firm as Senior Audit Associate and specializes in for-profit and not-for-profit financial statement audits, employee benefit plan audits, overhead rate audits, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.

    It may be bad news for a bear spotted several times in an area in Rio Rico the last few weeks, state wildlife workers may have to put it down.  However, they may not have to kill it, IF neighbors change their ways.
