SCOTTSDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

Authorities are asking for your help to put a man behind bars who is accused in a deadly crash and has been on the run for years.

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said Christopher Flores, 25, was driving eastbound on McKellips Road just east of Dobson Road on Sept. 23, 2006 when he allegedly hit a bicyclist riding close to the shoulder of the road.

The cyclist, Jason Wedo, died from his injuries.

MCSO said investigators found that Flores had marijuana in his system and a warrant for his arrest was issued by a grand jury on May 8, 2008.

MCSO and the U.S. Marshals Service have been trying to capture him ever since.

At the time of the crash he was 5'11'' tall and 165 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He lived in Scottsdale.

Anyone with information is asked to call MCSO at 602-876-1011.
