Tucson, AZ - Tucson's two time Olympian and 1996 Olympic gold medalist Kerri Strug helped celebrate National Gymnastics Day Saturday with a group of eager young gymnasts at Old Pueblo Gymnastics.

The SOLD OUT event featured a question and answer session between Strug and kids ranging from age 18 months to 10 years old.

The Green Field Country Day product then held a clinic for the gymnasts in attendance.

Strug began her career at the age of five under the tutelage of UA Gymnastics coach Jim Gault. The Hall of Fame coach died earlier this month.

She spoke to Tucson News Now about the influence Coach Gault had on her career.
