TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Two people who police believe were connected to a deadly midtown fight earlier this week were arrested in West Covina, Calif.

West Covina Police Department officials arrested Wiley Troy and Charlie Haney, who remain in West Covina as they await extradition back to Tucson.

Tucson Police detectives are in West Covina to follow up with the investigation.

Authorities found a 55-year-old male with serious injuries in midtown Tuesday following a reported fight at a residence in the 200 block of S. Norris Avenue on September 16. The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries on September 21.

Detectives determined the two suspects were living at the victim's residence. It was not disclosed what led to the physical altercation.

Police believe the victim and the male suspect were related.

Wiley Michael Troy, 33, was wanted for one count of first degree murder. Police also had a warrant out for 24-year-old Charley Haney for one count of aggravated assault.
