Today's Most Inspiring Story: 7 year-old boy hears for the first time

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

TODAY'S MOST...Inspiring story: A seven year-old boy is able to hear sounds for the first time. He had cochlear implant surgery in a hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and was able to hear noises and his mother's voice for the first time in his life. The boy, Jenri Rivera, is from Guatemala. An American woman who met him several years ago when she was on a mission trip to that country made it her mission to enable him to hear. She worked with a non-profit organization to set up the surgery. The boy was able to hear his mother speak via skype from Guatemala. He'll stay in Indiana for a few months to learn how to talk and recognize sounds, and then he'll return home to his family.

TODAY'S MOST...Humorous Impression: U2 lead singer Bono was on a panel with former President Bill Clinton during Clinton's big annual conference in New York city. Clinton was late coming out, so Bono did an impression of the former president. Especially given the fact Bono's from Ireland, his Arkansas accent wasn't bad.

TODAY'S MOST...Interesting stolen item: A toy armadillo was stolen from the stage during a Willie Nelson concert in New York. Now, Willie posted video showing a woman took the toy off the stage, and he wants help figuring out who the woman is. The armadillo belongs to a member of Nelson's road crew, and is known as 'Ol Dillo. The theater where Nelson played is looking through more surveillance video and pictures to see if they can identify the thief. Here's Nelson's facebook page where he has the video.
