TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A group of 15-20 people were stung by bees while attending a child's birthday party at Fort Lowell Park on Glenn and Craycroft Roads, according to fire Capt. Chris Jurvig.

No one was transported to a hospital due to injuries. Crews believe they found the hive and a professional exterminating company was called to the scene.

The group was moved about 1,000 feet away from the hive after the incident.

No other information was immediately available.
