TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The calendar still says September, but Oktoberfest 2013 celebrations are happening at Mt. Lemmon Ski Valley.

It wouldn't be Oktoberfest without music, from Polka music to the chicken dance, hundreds of people brought out their inner German to celebrate.

Nancy Pettibon and her husband are new to Tucson. They decided to make it out to Ski Valley for Oktoberfest and Pettibon says the German food is great, including bratwursts, German potato salad, pickled cabbage, and even cold beer.

Jay Davies and her family own Ski Valley. Davies is part German and says she enjoys bringing a piece of Germany to Mt. Lemmon.

Oktoberfest at Ski Valley happens on Saturday and Sunday until Oct. 13.
