Missing elderly man has been found

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Pima County Sheriff's Department is reporting that George Alexander has been found.  He is in good condition and is currently at home.

According to PCSD Alexander had driven to Tucson to have his cell phone repaired when he had vehicle trouble.  He called a taxi and returned home Monday night at 9 p.m.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department would like to thank the community for their help during the search.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department is asking for the community's help as they look for a missing 84-year-old man.

His name is George Alexander and he was last seen at 11 a.m. Sunday morning, leaving his home in the Three Points area. 

Alexander has memory problems and might be confused, according to PCSD officials.

He is described as 5'5" tall, weighing about 100 pounds, with short gray hear and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a tan shirt and pants, with a baseball cap. 

Alexander was driving his 2004 white Ford F-350 with Oklahoma license plates.

Those with information or who may have seen him are asked to call 9-1-1.
