Lockdown at Catalina High School ends, 3 in custody

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tucson Police say they have three people in custody in relation to an incident that prompted a lockdown of the Catalina High School campus this morning.

The lockdown order was lifted shortly before 11 a.m.

According to TPD Sgt. Chris Widmer, three young men are in custody. Their ages were not reported. Widmer said it is not clear if the men are students.

Police have recovered a gun, Widmer said.

Police were called to the area near the school for a report of a young man with a gun. The man's age was not reported.

According to police, the man allegedly showed the gun to a student.
