Emergency crews respond to fatal motorcycle accident

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Update as of 7:30 p.m.: Investigators from the Pima County Sheriff's Department have determined that the fatal motorcycle accident Saturday on Mount Lemmon was a suicide committed by the driver.

Emergency crews responded to fatal motorcycle accident at the top of Mount Lemmon. 

According to Deputy Tracy Suitt of the Pima County Sheriff's Department, Rural/Metro Fire Department is responding to a motorcyclist that went over the rail at mile post nine. 

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The accident is currently under investigation.
