TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Happening today, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer will make a stop in Tucson.

She is expected to arrive at the Universal Avionics Headquarters at 1:30 p.m.  The company manufactures equipment for aircraft cockpits; Gov. Brewer will be taking a tour of the facility – her reason for visiting - to promote October as Arizona Manufacturers month.

Throughout the month, she will be traveling the state to showcase the manufacturing market in Arizona.  Highlighting the importance of the industry to Arizona's job growth and economy. 

By 3 p.m. Governor Brewer will head to Mission Manor Park near Drexel and 12th Avenue.  She will meet and congratulate the Sunnyside Little League Softball Team for being the first ever team in Arizona to win the Little League Softball World Series.
