Akron homicide victim identified as homeless woman

AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

The homicide victim that was discovered behind a vacant business on E. South Street in Akron last week has been positively identified as Lori E. Patch, 53.

An identification was made possible from a tip the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office received from a concerned citizen.

The homeless woman's body was found on October 4, but had not been there for a long time. She died of blunt force trauma.
