DETROIT (AP) - Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh (ehn-DAHM'-uh-kehn soo) has lost an appeal of the $100,000 fine against him for his hit on a Minnesota Vikings player.   

Suh's agent, Roosevelt Barnes, tells The Associated Press he was notified Friday of the arbitrator's decision.           

The six-figure fine was the largest in league history for on-field conduct, not including money lost by players due to suspensions.           

Suh apologized to the player, Vikings center John Sullivan, and to teammates for negating an interception return for a touchdown in Detroit's season-opening win.           

Suh has been fined six times and suspended for two games for a total  of $342,794.
