TPD officials say 71-year-old man has been found

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Update: Closure to 8:30 p.m. Saturday night the Tucson Police Department alerted via Facebook that Robert Johnson has been located.

Authorities ask for the public's help in locating a 71-year-old Tucson man.

Robert Johnson reportedly left his home in the 1400 block of N. Venice Avenue in a vehicle around 7:50 p.m., according to Sgt. Chris Widmer with the Tucson Police Department.

Officials say he normally uses a walker but did not bring it with him. Family members say he has dementia.

He is described as being 5'11" tall, about 220 pounds with white hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black shorts, brown slippers and a cowboy hat. The vehicle he is driving is described as a gray 2004 Dodge Pickup with a handicap license plate of "AAE68."

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
