Man breaks leg escaping apartment fire

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Fire crews say a man broke his leg while escaping an apartment fire in west Toledo.

Crews were called out to the apartment complex, located near the intersection of Hill and Reynolds, around 3:00 a.m. Tuesday. The man was the only person inside the apartment during the time of the fire.

Most of the damage was to the inside of the building, but there is some charring on the outside of the apartment complex. Fire investigators were called to the scene.
