Cincinnati Police arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting last week in South Fairmount.
Police found 14-year-old Dwayne Lamarr Lewis Jr. unresponsive near the intersection of Knox Street and Blaine Road on October 15. Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene.
On October 19, Cincinnati Police Fugitive Unit arrested Julius White. He's been charged with aggravated murder.
Lewis was a freshman and aspiring boxer at Carpe Diem - Aiken High School in College Hill.
"It has a affected our boxing team because Dwayne was a good kid. He was very mannerable and respectful," said wrestling coach Daryl Jones.
Jones says Dwayne wasn't violent, didn't use drugs. He worked hard for his goals. "He would train hard and he would also give me help with other little kids that were smaller than him. I mean he was just a smiling kid."
White is expected to be in court on Monday, October 21.
