Tucson Police are on scene investigating a homicide in the 2500 block of North Fontana Avenue.
According to TPD spokesperson Sgt. Chris Widmer, TPD received a call just after 11 p.m. Wednesday night about shots fired. When they arrived on scene TPD reported finding a man with obvious trauma.
The 28-year-old male was taken to the hospital where he later died of his injuries, according to TPD.
The incident is still under investigation, according to TPD officials, the shooting could be gang related. The identity of the shooting victim is still not known at this time.
Those with information about this incident are asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
