TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A man drowned this morning in a pool in Oro Valley, according to a Golder Ranch Fire District spokesman.

Golder Ranch Battalion Chief William Seeley said a man in his mid-70s drowned in a pool near West Naranja and North Poinsettia drives this morning around 10.

It is unknown how long the man was in the water before an Oro Valley Police Department officer removed him.

The circumstances surrounding this incident are being investigated by Oro Valley Police detectives.
