The price at the pump continues to drop across Arizona.
The state saw an average drop of 1.3 cents this week to about $3.27 per gallon, which was a bigger dip than the national average of less than a penny to $3.36 per gallon.
"We're still enjoying a large month-over-month decline, and should still experience a modest drop in pump prices over the next few weeks," said Linda Gorman, director of communications and public affairs for AAA Arizona. "However, if crude oil prices remain elevated, it would provide a fundamental floor of how low gas prices can ultimately go." The East Valley pumps the lowest-costing fuel in the state at $3.17 per gallon, and Flagstaff keeps the title of most expensive fuel average at $3.52 per gallon.
Nationally, South Carolina is the least expensive and California continues to have the highest-costing fuel.
