Vanderbilt lays off dozens more hospital employees

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Dozens more employees at Vanderbilt University Medical Center have lost their jobs as part of a restructuring move at the hospital.

About 60 employees learned Tuesday was their last day at work at Vanderbilt.

It's not clear what roles they filled.

Vanderbilt has been cutting staff in recent months in order to cut costs, and hundreds of workers have already been laid off.
