Pima Community College has named a former president of Santa Fe Community College as the interim president of the PCC Community Campus.

Sheila Ortego served as Santa Fe CC's president from 2006 to 2012.

She earned her doctoral and master's degrees in American Studies from the University of New Mexico.

Ortego's first day is Oct. 28.
