Fulton County Sheriff's Deputies searching for man who fled traffic stop

SWANCREEK TOWNSHIP, OH (Toledo News Now) -

The Fulton County Sheriff's Department is searching for a suspect who they say fled a traffic stop outside of Swanton Friday afternoon.

Deputies say they pulled over a vehicle believed to be stolen around 4 p.m. Friday. A male suspect fled that traffic stop on foot, and a female suspect was arrested. Police are currently searching Swancreek Township for the man who ran from deputies.

They previously believed three people were involved and were searching for two, but deputies stress that they made a mistake and only two people were involved.

Police say they have no reason to believe the suspects are armed or dangerous.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Fulton County Sheriff's Office at (419) 335-4010.
