Perhaps it was the fact that Alabama's new offensive coordinator was coaching from the sideline. Perhaps it was that screen grab with less than two minutes remaining in the first quarter that went viral.

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

Alabama head coach Nick Saban seemed just about pleased with everything that happened in Saturday's game against Tennessee. The Tide won a lopsided victory with a score of 45-10.

"I know I'm really happy. I know our players are really happy. I hope our fans are happy," said Saban as he began the postgame news conference. "I certainly appreciate our fans today. They stayed for the game and did a great job of supporting our team. It was a great atmosphere for our players to play in."

As for the game itself, Saban says he was most pleased with how the Crimson Tide played in the first half. Alabama was able to put 5 unanswered touchdowns on the board before halftime with the last touchdown being an interception returned 89 yards by Landon Collins.

"I've been really pleased with how our guys came out and played in the last four games. We got off to a really good start. Played physical. Played with a lot of toughness," said Saban.

The coach took some time to praise the work at Tennessee.

"We knew Tennessee is a team that can play with anybody in the country. It was a challenge to our guys to try to prove who we were and how we could play against them," said Saban."

Saban says the upcoming bye week will really help the team for recovery and preparation for the LSU game.

"This bye week comes at a really good time. We've got a lot of guys nicked up. We could use the rest. We could use the time to help some players improve. That's going to be our focus of this week," said Saban.
