TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Two Tucson men are facing charges in connection with three burglaries in Rita Ranch.

According to the Tucson Police Department, Jose Pina, 39, and Juan Ortega, 35, were arrested for their alleged involvement in the crimes.

Police say Pina was booked into the Pima County Jail and faces two counts of second degree burglary, two counts of trafficking in stolen property and two counts of felony theft.

Ortega faces two counts of second degree burglary and two counts of felony theft. He was also booked into the Pima County Jail, police say.

The burglaries occurred between Oct. 4 and Oct. 18 in the 8400 block of South Via Del Arriero, 7700 block of South Precious Opal Drive and the 8060 block of South Teaberry Avenue. The suspects allegedly broke into the houses during daytime hours when nobody was home.
