TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

University of Arizona Police Department officials apprehended a suspect in possible connection to a car theft in a campus parking lot.

Authorities later found the vehicle outside the Tucson area and apprehended the suspect.

No injuries were reported.

The department reminds the public to be aware of one's surroundings and travel in well-lit areas at night to help prevent threatening situations.
