Races this week to honor J. Norman

Tucson, AZ - Tucson Speedway lost a long time friend this past week. J Norman, father of Tucson Racing Legend Ron Norman, passed away October 22nd.  In celebration of J Norman's Life, Tucson Speedway will be running the "Hammer Down" 67 lap Super Late Model Race this Saturday afternoon with a purse of $8,150 for the Super Late Models.  Super Late Models, Late Models, Southwest Orthopaedic Surgery Specialists Modified, Pro Stocks, Bombers, Mighty Compacts and Hornets will compete at the "Action Track Built for Speed!"

Experience stock car racing at over 100 mph, great food and Ice Cold Beverages.  With the evenings getting colder, Tucson Speedway begins afternoon racing!  The entertaining JITS Band will be on stage playing from 12 until the green flag drops.    Pit gate opens at 9:30, front gates open at noon, qualifying starts at 12:45 and Racing starts at 2:00.

Tucson Speedway, "The Action Track Built for Speed", is a great night of affordable family entertainment.   Adults $12, Senior & Military $10, Young Adults 11-16 $6, children under 11 years of age free.  Save $12 on the SPECIAL Family package of 2 Adults and 2 Children Only $ 25. 

Don't Forget, the pit gate opens at 9:30am, front gates open at noon, qualifying starts at 12:45 and Racing starts at 2:00.

Take I-10 Rita Road Exit 273 South.  Turn left at Rocket Strave and follow the directions to the track located at 11955 S Harrison.
