PHOENIX (AP) - Federal authorities say four sex offenders and child predators with outstanding warrants have been arrested in Arizona.
U.S. Marshals Service officials say the sixth "Operation Safe Treat" began in the days leading up to Halloween and continued through Thursday night.
They say a 24-year-old man wanted for three counts of sexual abuse of a child and sexual conduct of a minor was arrested at a home in Holbrook.
Two other arrests came in Maricopa County - a 43-year-old man who was an unregistered sex offender and a 36-year-old woman who violated federal sex-offender registration laws.
Authorities say a 32-year-old man was arrested in Tucson for sexual exploitation of a minor for placing an online ad seeking sex with girls.
Federal authorities say 76 arrest warrants were cleared during the operation.
