Two people are dead, one person is in custody, after a shooting Friday night at a club in Wyandot County.

Authorities say a man and a woman were shot multiple times inside Carey Conservation Clubhouse, on Township Road 106, just east of Carey, Ohio,.

According to the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office, officers arrived on the scene shortly after 9 p.m. Friday, and found the shooter still inside the club and armed. Officers arrested 65-year-old Richard L. Clark, of rural Tiffin.

A trustee at the Carey Conservation Club tells Toledo News Now,  the shooter walked into the club, firing one shot into the air before shooting and killing the two victims. There were around two dozen people inside the club at the time.

The shooting victims, 49-year-old Roger Fredritz, of Carey, and 49-year-old Cynthia Hawkinberry, of Tiffin, were both pronounced dead at the scene.
