PIMA COUNTY, AZ (Tucson News Now) - All across the U.S. it's Election day.
The polls are open here in Pima County, and the key thing voters need to remember about going to a polling place is that they are prepared.
Many poles opened at 6 a.m. and will close at 7 p.m. tonight. Some polling places have changed, this goes for the voters in Catalina Foothills Schools and the Sunnyside Unified School District.
If residents vote by mail, but were not able to mail their ballot, they can drop it off at the Recorder's office in downtown Tucson or any of the polling places in Pima County.
Voters can find their polling place location information in the following ways:
- From the sample ballot that was mailed out earlier in October
- From the yellow notification card mailed to every household from the Pima County Recorder's Office.
- By logging onto the Pima County Recorder's website at www.recorder.pima.gov, click on "Polling Location," and type in your address.
- By calling the Pima County Recorder's office at 520-724-4330.
Voters in these districts are required by law to go to the correct polling location.
