Groundbreaking business center promises thousands of jobs for Arizona

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A global hub for American business could bring thousands of jobs to Arizona.  Developers of PhoenixMart expect to create ten thousand jobs once the center is built near Casa Grande.

PhoenixMart is promoted as the first permanent multi-industry sourcing center in the country.  The goal is to help American companies keep prices low by providing a variety of services and joining 2000 manufacturers and distributors in one place.  PhoenixMart will have just less than a square mile of land.

Elaine Chao, former Secretary of Labor under President George Bush, will be at the groundbreaking Thursday, and so will Tucson News Now.
