TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) –One of the biggest flea markets in Pima County kicks off Thursday.

It's located at Desert Skies United Methodist Church near Houghton and Fort Lowell. The 26th annual event is from 7am - 5pm Thursday and Friday and 7am - noon Saturday.

Money raised from flea market sales benefits local charities. In the past they've raised about $10,000.

Organizers collect items all year long to prep for this three-day event. They'll have everything from jewelry to clothes, toys, furniture, appliances, and electronics spread out over about seven acres of land.

Admission is free. Items can only be purchased using cash or check.

Organizers estimate they'll see 7,000 - 8,000 people over the next three days. They say bring patience and expect to see parked cars lined up and down Houghton Road near Fort Lowell.
