    Last week Border Patrol agents seized more than $1 million in marijuana, as suspects attempted to smuggle it across the border into the U.S. In a recent release from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, agents with the Ajo Station, stopped three suspected smuggling attempts on Sept. 11.

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A hotel on Tucson's southwest side was evacuated today after the discovery of a suspicious object.

The Silverbell Inn, 720 W. Silverlake Road, was evacuated and West Silverlake Road was closed between South Santa Cruz Lane and Interstate 10 at about 10 this morning.

The bomb squad used a robot to investigate the object, which was not described.
