A missing Tucson man was located Wednesday morning in a vacant apartment, police said.

93-year-old Walter Abbott was last seen around 6 p.m. Tuesday night at the Cascades of Tucson Assisted Living Facility. Police say he told the staff he was going to the house theater to watch a movie and would be back by 8:30 in the evening. When he didn't return, they got worried and determined that he'd never been there.

He was found safe and unharmed and it appeared that he did not leave the facility, according to staff members.
